OMW - what a joy this one is....if I could be a bride all over I'd get married in August when this is in full bloom and would need no other blooms..... ;D

My old old camellia has been a wonderful sight

And what a delightful mulch it makes!

This tiny one is Cinnamon Cindy - one of my all time favourites

And fully open

Dont know this one's name - but love her shape

I know these aren't genuine roses but aren't theye fascinating - my friend has these two in her garden and many a visitor has remarked on the "succulents" that look like roses!

And I thought my 2 weedy little grenadilla vines would never bear any fruit.......till this happened....this bowl is a fraction of what we collect in a day

and this is them now covering the 3m high fence and a huge stinkwood tree.......

I was watching "gardening australia" earlier and was intrigued by these little mouse melons - never heard of them before.

Has anyone grown them?

There is a major cleaning-up going on here - I'm dedicating january 2015 to the garden clean-up - this plant was a freebie courtesy of the birds but what is it?  (And the very hopeful rain lily bud - also a freebie courtesy of mother nature! - has been sitting and waiting to open for about a week now but there's no sign of rain yet....)

and this one I thought to be a gerbera before it got these weedy flowers - there are so many weeds here but haven't seen this before

The first 2 are from seeds Susan sent me and the rest came from Daylily Park - except for the last one

One of my favourites - Moment of Truth

I walk past this tree late afternoons and just have to stop and enjoy the mind-blowing scent of the blooms - unfortunately most of the flowers are scorched by then but the scent is still there from metres away - the blooms are bigger than the palm of my hand

These are usually a sure sign that rain is on the way - but not this time :( :(

Look at the difference in colour on the same plant - never seen this before - can it be the sudden cool rain after some hot, hot weather ???
