IMHO Barry Engelbrecht has the widest variety of Daylilies in RSA. He relocated his nursery from Midrand to Hout Bay recently. You may PM me for his phone number.

Hi All,
I just want to bear testimony to Dries' recommendation of Barry's daylilies:  I have just purchased 7 plants from him and boy what healthy plants arrived in the post!  That was last Monday that they arrived, planted Tues [due to heavy rain on Mon] and the fans have already grown about 10cm each [the leaves were cut down before postage].  I also went up to a local supplier 'Daylily Gardens' in Hillcrest and bought two plants there.  Will start a separate post sometime and post some of the lovely pics I took there.
Oh, back to Barry's 'Shidava Daylilies' - the pricelist found on Dries' site [under 'downloads'] is not the most recent. Many of those specials are sold out/discontinued. Email Barry for new 2007 list - his email address will be on that old list.

Mel.
Best Regards,

Mel.
