   No. That has become a delicate subject around here. I am not getting good results with the "better" camera yet. It's 5 MP better, but I have been very unhappy with the results. Part of it is the light settings, you need to set it for sunlight, incandescent, or florescent lighting even if you use the flash. I have not even touched the Canon SLR Digital my nephew gave me. I am waiting for him to come and show me how it works. He tells me it's just like the old 35mm SLRs but you're not burning film up to get one good photo.

    That seedhead is only between 4 and 5 cm across.

John,

Your photos are great and these two display good clarity!

But, you must start using that Canon!  Which model is it?  I am convinced that once you have played around a bit, you will not be sorry at all! 

Just my thinking on that...
