Post your Gardening Friends and Assistants here
« on: February 02, 2009, 00:59:52 AM »
Just going through some of the pix on the site I note in the background of some photos some gardening friends and assistants - so why not give them a proper introduction here.

Meet my 'Sweet Thing' last year when she was a pup

On guard duty with Isa and Tiffany

I love toys - you can find Sweet Thing by the black eye.

All this activity makes me so tired  - I need a rest

Ok Guys! Lets meet them.

Abby,

She's adorable - makes me miss mine terribly.  I had to give up my animals when I moved to the townhouse and was pleased to find someone who would take both the maltese and the golden retriever x lab but was heartbroken to hear the maltese had been run over and had to be put down a few months after the family adopted them from me...

What a great looking lizard you have there. What variety is it ? Do you call him by a special name?

It's a chameleon Abby.

Sweet thing is the cutest pup, I had one just like her which I rescued, but sadly had to give to my mom in the end as the ex-boyfriend feared for his parrot. She still lives with my mum, and is still so sweet, so at least I get to see her when I visit Joburg.

Sorry about your dog, Janine, that's very sad.

Abby - we used to have lots of chameleons in the garden and then they all seemed to disappear.  Now this one is here again - and I hope it's a pregnant mom so that there will be lots of babies - that is to say if there is only one of them here now as they all kind of look the same!

Rachel

Thanks for the ID  :)
I am a little biased, well maybe a lot biased but the Maltese pups seem to have a personality ++ and a delight to  own.

Rena

I hope that you get many more of them. they look like a real delight.
Are you going to share a picture of "Bullet with us?

Susan

How is your pup gettin along - it must be growing . What about posting an update?

Abby my boerboel Roxy is 4 months now and she is huge! Everybody thinks she is a male! She weighed 20 kilos when she was 12 weeks old and she must be more than 30 kilos now! I am trying to take a nice pic but it is so difficult as she do not keep still for a second!

Abby - I'm still having problems with posting of some photos - think I must try to decrease them in size when I have some spare time, but at the moment I spend all the spare time in the garden watering as it has been very hot and awfully windy here lately, but Bullit will still be posted.

Looking forward to seeing Roxy again and don't forget the Jack russels.

Rena
Here is a screen shot of the photobucket upload
You will see a small arrow on lower left side of pix and from there you can choose the size you require and it will do it automatically for you. I just leave mine set to the size as seen on the pix.
