Hi Everyone

Janine, I am very sorry for your loss!  I had to have one of my little treasures put down last year and I was a wreck.  I don't have any children yet so my dogs are my children.  The pic below is of my Sunny, we got him when we had Pilot put down.  I don't know about "helping" but he certainly is where ever I am in the garden sticking his nose into everything.  Here he's posing with another love of mine - clivias!!

Abby, your "Sweet thing" is too precious, she really brought a smile to my face.  They really are special aren't they?

Your Sunny is adorable, look at that cute inquisitive nose and those bright sparkling eyes.
I think every garden should have one.

Wow! Rena

What a lovely parrot that you have there. I love his teal blue green colours.

What variety is Cheeky?

I think we all need an assistant like that to help us with pruning

Below is a Blue Tongue Lizard that looks after my snail problems, came over from the bush and never left.

Hi Abby

Cheeky is a blue-fronted Amazon parrot - she has a toe missing (from before she was given to us) but that doesn't stop her pruning my plants!

Abby - another one for you - we have a pair of tame laughing doves breeding(have 2 eggs)  in an old veggie basket outside the kitchen.  They come and go as they please.

Your dove basket looks as good as any other floral basket.

You will have to keep us updated as the family grows.

It is marvellous how relaxed lay back a cat can be and in a moments notice burst into a ball of energy.

Looks as if you have one spoilt cat there  ;)

Just loved the other posts of everyone else's pets and critters - too lovely - what is life without plants and animals
My gardening assistants are both very spoilt b o y s...... but I love them both to bits, they're always with me where ever I am.  The big one is Oscar, the little one is Tazz

Here they are "chilling" on their bed

Tazz was driving me nuts for attention one night, I eventually put his pillow on my desk, then, he was happy  :)
