Nice selection of whites

Dave can you tell me if the brown texture at the base is just a normal part of aging of the plant  ??? Like our wrinkles  ???

I have that on some of my older ones and have them in quarantine as I thought something may be wrong with them
Never regret anything that made you smile.

Hi Abby,
I am not sure what you mean by browing on the base. If the base of the plant is looking like it is going woody then yes this is a sign of age, it can also show that the plant is not getting enough nutrients. The woody base shows more on the Rhipsalidopsis/Hatoria. perhaps you could post a Photo of what you mean.
