On the way to lunch near Stellenbosch today. Sorry - the snow had melted

Not the best photos but the traffic was too heavy on the blind rise - amazing what one  can do with indigenous

What do you think those plants are with the lovely orange in the second pic - towards the back - perhaps an aloe of some sort...?

I am wondering to Mel, the flowers look like A. striata but the leaves not.
