Nice blooms but
This is the description Hadeco give Green Dragon
"Deepest Green Amaryllis available, trumpet- type flowers with a cream to white edge. Prolific with reliable performance" - must use a photographic license  ???

http://www.hadecobulbs.com/Amaryllis.asp?ProductID=74

Are you sure it is not Jade Serpent? Which is presumably lighter to that of Green Dragon  ???

Good point Abby.  I'm not sure what I have now.  I got these bulbs from www.showersofflowers.co.za and was under the impression that it was as labelled.

Whilst I have not seen Green Dragon in life - it does seem a little too pale, if it was me I would be contacting the supplier and asking questions or even send a picture to Hadeco and ask questions  ??? Hadeco may be able to give you an ID.

Hi Leroy and Welcome to the Forum  :)

Just love your Green Daragon Great depth of green intensity.

Is it a four bloom and what size are the blooms ?

Do you find the bloom colour fades with maturity or does the colour remain constant ?

Hi Jeremy and Leroy (Brown?)
I like
Kobie has one just like Jeremy in flower now, we have no idea what it is called though!

Hi Abby
Yes it was a four bloom. Unfortunately I did not measure it size but it was about 5 inches or about 120 to 130 mm. Normally I like to pollinate my flowers but unfortunately I was very busy with other things. The colour stayed green. Although I have some different flowers my main interest is clivias. The following picture is a flame lily which is also one of my favourite flowers. The colour is not quite what it should be as it is under shade cloth, it is normally brighter red and yellow, I also have it in yellow only but it has not flowered yet.

Dale  :)

Sounds like the Green Dragon is a good one  :good:

It has everything going for her.

Love the Flame Lily - mine is just coming up but does not look anywhere near bloom.

Can hardly wait till your yellow blooms - never seen one but she should be extremely beautiful
