stunning!  I've been very impressed with the 'normal' neomarica - have posted it recently - white with purple and brown detail.  Have only ever seen yours in pics.  I am suprised both are not  more widely sold or grown.  Mine grow like weeds here, and yet in all my years of nursery crawling have only ever seen them sold once!!
Best Regards,

Mel.

Dave

Love the colour.

How long did it take to flower?

Did you grow it from seed?

Rena. I bought it from a nusery in Pretoria two years ago. It was only six inches high. So it has taken two years to flower. The sad thing is, it only flowers for a couple of days. Fortunately I  have a spike with 5 flowers open at once. that looks really amazing.

Kareen, An interesting point. This plant is not actually classified as an Iris. I picked this up on Google. I shocked me too

It's really beautiful, those markings are incredible - it's so perfect, it almost looks artificial

As you can see flowers closed and gone.

As you can see, there is a second spike with four flower about to open. It just keeps on producing flowers.
