Midnight show
« on: February 18, 2010, 09:15:22 AM »
These only seem to open properly around midnight - and these gardeners struggle to stay awake after all the hard labour in the garden during the day - but managed to catch these

I'm just waiting for midnight to do the pollinating thing!!

Bennie - I've never seen fruit on this one - but the flowers are huge like a medium-sized dinner plate so it could be.
My red epi gives fruit - about the size of a big olive - and very tasty.

They are lovely, thanks for sharing!  Epi's are one of my favourites.

I was hoping to take a photo of this lot when they opened fully - and went outside at 10pm but they were just starting to open and again at 11pm when they were just starting the show and meant to go out at 11.30  again but fell asleep... ;D
