Daisy display at Civic Centre
« on: November 07, 2010, 22:17:26 PM »
OUr local Civic Centre (library, town hall and smaller function venues) always has a nice garden.  Well kept and well planted.

Lately I have been admiring the Namaqualand daisies thriving there.  Stopped recently to get some seeds that are so abundant:

They make such a lovely contrast with the blue pansies:

Best Regards,

Thanks for sharing that Mel - it sure looks like a well maintained garden.  It's so sad when some of these places start off with major landscaping and a few years later there's very little left.

Our municipality here has had some very nice displays on the "traffic islands" but I'd probably cause a major pile-up if I try to take photos while I drive - must make a plan.
