Lovely new leaves on the latifrons - but eina

And the altensteinii cross
Retired - now full-time gardener - and loving it!

Did you have the E. latifrons for a long time?  What did you pay for it and what size did you get it?

We've had it for about 16 years - bought for R250.00 with 2 leaves at the time - that's about the same size as you were 16 years ago ;D

That is a bladdy good price for that E. latifrons!  Do you know what it is worth now?  I would not even sell that plant, would rather sell my house before I sell that plant!

I think hubby will sell me - and his car - before he sells that latifrons........ ;D

I'm not sure about what it's worth at the moment - I just know that there are a lot of people fancying it!

     Latifrons is very cool!  I've never seen that plant before; is it a fern?  (I know, I know: U.T.S.E., right Michael? ;))  It's more fun to read your explanation than to look it up on Google.
