cuphea in pot
« on: December 10, 2011, 19:13:49 PM »
Hi everyone
please can someone help me again??!!  I have a cuphea in a pot which has lost all of its leaves and only has bare stalks now, could you shed some light on this?  It has only been in a pot for 2 months now.  Thanks in anticipation.

Cuphea has very few pests and diseases.

Could be mites in which case I would spray it with Neem oil/ insecticide.

Or the plant could have dried out if it was not properly established ???

Photos make an ID much easier  :)

thanks for your response Abby

yes I think that I wasn't watering it enough when I first potted it and perhaps it wasn't getting enough sun either, anyway I'm going to see what happens now as I have moved the pot to a different area and will give it a little water every day, maybe I can still save it?? ???
