I truly miss all the daylily talks. Here are a few purple seedlings flowered for the first time this year.
Enjoy
Chris

Hello Chris

I am not really a day-lily man
but I like these ones

For me the first and last picture are favourite

Hi Chris - it's a busy time here in Paarl (and I'm sure around the corner in Wellington for you as well) - I seem to spend my days watering the garden - even though the nights are getting nicely cool, my poor garden is still baking.  I was going to ask you - when I was paying at the till at stodels the other day I saw a chap walking out with 2 containers and I thought it said Daylily Park on them - like a soft cardboard box with a carry handle??  Yours??

(Roland can have the first and last ones - I pick the 2nd and 2nd last ;D - but they're all beautiful.)

Yes Rena, we are busy with a test marked where we pack daylily bulbs (fans) in little cartons for the nurseries.
Here are a few more new seedlings.

Barbie pink is my colour

I definitely think you should rush out and buy it and send me some seeds  LOL

Have you got a name for that seedling yet Chris ??? You should definitely register that one - it is a winner.

I wonder what has happened to Mel and Susan - I would love to see an update on her seedlings

BTW Chris
Any chance of  adding a website link to Daylily Park at the bottom of your signature - I love to browse through your site.

Just out of interest - did all the purple seedlings come from the same parentage ???

Stunning. I really like that brown/orangey one in the last batch.

I also miss Susan's input and photos. She sent me some daylilly fans a while ago to get me interested in the species...and she did! Look what they did in the heat of Upington this year. (Early summer though)

Regards.
