Kiepersol-Cabbage tree (Cussonia Paniculata )

I tried my hand on growing  Kiepersol from seeds last year.

Not knowing how to grow the seeds Heinie referred me to the Internet.

This is the results a year later.







seeds to be harvested this year





and some more plants  some  7 containers this size



and more - some 10 containers  of this size full

Looking good, I think that this Cussonia is sphaerocephala as it only has one head

Lee  you are right .The tree in the photo is sphaerocephala.

Here is the leaves of the the two kinds of Kiepersol i have.

Rena i will sell of some when they are a  bit bigger.


Abby  am trying  to turn some  as bonsai .

You don't eat the leaves, however you can get water from the roots, hence its name "keep us all"

 :mmm: I thought if it was called a cabbage tree it would be edible ??? Like the leaves look good enough to eat  :-*
