I got this little plant as a gift from my six year old gronddaughter.

Look at the "spiderweb" forming over it .What can it be ???

I think that is a succulent Sempervivum??

     Hi Bill,
     It is Sempervivum arachnoidium arachnoides, aka "Cobweb houseleek." http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Sempervivum_arachnoideum_cobweb.jpg
    I have a bunch of them.  They are easy to root, just place them on the ground.
