2008 seedlling H.Basuto selfed

Maiden Bloom with a 25 cm diameter

The bloom on this bought a little sunshine on otherwise a very rainy period.

I was a little disappointed in the height of the scape which barely lifted the bloom of the ground - perhaps it will do better next year.
The other feature I would like to see an improvement on is more than 2 blooms

Thanks Bill

The surface on the bloom is extremely reflective.

As I had no other pollen I selfed it and it did take but unfortunately the scape broke.
