Id request, 'spiky tomato'
« on: July 16, 2013, 14:54:16 PM »
Hello Everyone,

How are you?

I found this very strange, yet beautiful plant next to the road in a peace of veld. I am going to try and grow it from cuttings, but I would love to know what it is. Can anyone please give me a hand with an id?

It has a lot of thorns, forms a shrub about a meter high, and the fruits resemble tomatoes.

Thank you in advance,
Joh

That's the one! I probably shouldn't risk growing them, though.... They don't seem to be friendly to other countries. IAP in the making....  :P
