Lily of the Valley plants
« on: August 22, 2013, 11:24:48 AM »
Hi there,

I am desperately looking to please buy some Lily of the Valley plants. They seem to be scarcer than hen's teeth.

I have tried to grow them from seed a few times, but to no avail.

If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

     Hi Paddy,
     Do you mean Convallaria majalis
What country do you live in?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for responding. Apologies for only getting back to you now.

Yes, I do mean Convallaria majalis.

I live in South Africa, have a new, empty, very shady and large garden and would love to find some plants, as I believe they spread rapidly and, of course, are beautiful when they flower.

As I said, they are next to impossible to find in South Africa.

Take care
Patrick

     Hello Paddy,
Have you tried one of the many on-line vendors that sell them?  Won't they ship to you?  If not, let me know.

Hi Paddy! Have you ever been able to find any lily of the valley plants? Where did you get your seeds from? I've also been searching for lily of the valley plants / seeds for some years now but up to now have been unable to procure it.
