« on: March 05, 2014, 05:58:14 AM »
Fulva the edible daylily is out now always the last of the Daylilies - have had a number of stir fries and they are definitely YUM!!!!

This is the Double variety I have called Kwanso - cannot bring myself to eat this one :)

Abby i have both of these as well. Kwanzo has an attraction of it's own. Still one of my favorites. Fulva i have a few hundred. They seem to just keep on flowering without end. They seem to be sterile.  Have tried selfing as well as crossing without any success. I have so many other one's flowering that it does not matter. Fulva multiplies like weeds so that makes up for the seedless flowers.

Kind regards
Eddie

My eldest daughter moved to the Eastern Cape so i can appreciate my daylily flowers. When they still lived with me my grandson ate all my flowers. I will try the salad and stir fry next season.

Kind regards
Eddie
