Rena :)

Both your Hibiscus are adorable  :-*

Your Jap Anenone are plentiful - mine never do more than one or two blooms which they did last month - What is your secret  :)

My Camelia are just starting to show.

Although it was a low 20 temp the wind must have been blowing off the ice and I only braced it a couple of times to tend the livestock.

Never regret anything that made you smile.

Abby - no secrets, the jap anemones seem to take their time to establish and then only do they bloom their little hearts out ;D

Rena, how nice to have such an abundance of colours this time of year in one's garden! The brugmansia is very special!

Except for my tree fuchia now covered with small brick coloured flowers there is nothing to show!

Aletta - I'm busy making slips of my brugmansia if you would like one?

But one of these days you'll be able to show us photos of your lovely veldheimias again ;D

Thank you, Rena, but I've run out of spots in my garden in which to plant a brugmansia!

Although the first flower buds of the veldtheimias are already visible, it will take some time for them to be in full flower.  But I will post photos when it happens!

Alletta :)

Thanks for sharing your Fuchia with us it is amazing how such little blooms change the landscape.

You can grow Brugmansia in a large pot and as a matter of I would not grow it anywhere else as I found out their root system can be very invasive - also need to be sheltered as winds do tend to shred the large blooms.

 :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Rena
would you belive over 8 years  :(

Rena, I received the plant from a friend. If you are interest I'll layer one of the shoots for you. I'll watch out for seeds too!

Since my previous post I found out that this plant is a cultivar and does not produce seed. My friend raised it by layering.
